SITE BACKGROUND

Balboa Street in the Outer Richmond is a thriving neighborhood center. The parklet at Simple Pleasures Cafe is the first in the Outer Richmond, proudly serving the many families in the neighborhood.

DESIGN DETAILS

Built by Ron Stanford at Step 3 Studio, Planting design by Tina Calloway at Urban Farm Girls.

FUNDERS & DONORS

The Office of Supervisor Eric Mar (District 1) provided a Parklet Completion Grant through a competitive process administered by the San Francisco Planning Department.
